Folsom ROCKS !!!

3pm I went out on my 11m Sonic and had a ball...

What a great surprise, almost makes up for getting skunked at Sherman yesterday...

Hey Rich, glad you got some kitable wind today. I (of course) had to work right through the windy time. Is the water getting low in the lake? How many people were out?

Yah, it was great !!! Sorry you missed it but sounds like you got some at Sherman last weekend.

Water is down a bit but still good, nothing showing, just a bit longer walk to the water.

When I went out it was me & 2 others...

Then when I left there were about 5 others on the water...

Great time, doesn't sound like any wind today, keep in touch

What's the best wind direction for Folsom? It looks like Saturday will be windy but it's "offshore" wind. Does Folosm work well with easternly winds? I've never been? Thanks.

According to the weather man, Saturday should be a north wind day here. I live two miles from the launch site at Dyke 8 so I'll post the conditions as they develop tomorrow (before I head out of course) for anyone wanting to come from further away.

Personally I think it's going to be iffy caus they are only calling for 10-15. I hope I'm wrong.

It's currently blowing 15 N here on the west side of the valley. It seems like we get it first, then it slowly moves over to the east side. I don't know if that means later this afternoon or tomorrow, but seems like there's a good chance for kiting this weekend at Folsom.
