The Richmond Osprey cam:

can be great for the Marina Bay launch site, but most of the time they're zoomed in on the nest
like now. Anyhow, I was thinking if more people (feigning an interest in seeing more of the osprey's environment) could email and ask them to zoom out so we could see Brooks Island, that might help.

Listing gear is bad, and you should feel bad.

Re: Osprey cam
Be careful, the "birders" are almost as batshit crazy as Sierra Club members. Don't ever mention that kites might be near the birds or they'll find some way to shut it down for sure. In fact it would be better that kites and the Osprey are never in the same shot!andydavis wrote:The Richmond Osprey cam:

Re: Osprey cam
yup. That kite would be about a 1/4 to 1/2 mile away from that nest.ozchrisb wrote: Be careful, the "birders" are almost as batshit crazy as Sierra Club members.
