Bahia Salinas, Costa Rica in January

Flying from Portland to LAX Jan 11th. Seems like Alaska has one flight a day to the Liberia airport. Any other kiters on this flight? It arrives a 7:56 pm. With a 1-1/2 hour taxi ride, to the Blue Dream resort. I can just make it before they close up for the night at 10:00 pm. I hope there is no delay.
I have no experience with the area and only one trip to La Ventana. I am doing some research on the Costa Rica and the Bahia Salinas area, to get some idea of what to expect. Should be fun.
