I guess this got canceled this year? Just got back from my Grand Canyon hiking/camping trip, so I missed it if it happened. Thanks for trying to organize it Yuri.

Let me know when the next meeting is going to happen. After the meeting, I can offer some time to attending beginners who are interested in learning simple techniques on pre-flight and post-flight inspection of their gear, and simple tune up and maintenance of their control bars. Basic maintenance can help avoid accidents and costly repair of equipment.

Screw the meeting !! We just need to get some batteries for Pam's Mega Phone..Problem solved ... or we could just give you a house warming gift ..change the name on the side to "Yuri,s Mega Phone" Hey !.. it just works the police told us some years back to buy it as we are conditioned to listen to them ..all joking aside.. Pam did a good job for us ..& kept the girls from closing the lower launch.. she told me to pass the torch to you..so do you want the "Mega Phone" ? in my heart I feel that you have done so much for the kiting community & we should just let you stand down like the rest of the veterans kiters... but I have seen the decline in respect for the beach goers & the ball is in your court.....

I know how you feel bro....but don't do it ! ..if you punch out another kiter we will be calling attention to all kiters .. & that would make our crew look like bully's .. best talk with Yuri on how to handle a out of control kiter. He has been around a long time & he knows what to do & how to handle the "Bastard !!" just kidding....ask him about the yellow kite rule... coined by him...seems to be true most of the time.. in my humble opinion I don't think these meetings do squat but maybe with someone like Yuri in there ? things could change.. still check in with him before you call someone out. as this is just the wrong way to handle it .. I have known you for a long time Chris & I also know you are a surfer at heart & you and I know how things go down at SC breaks.. but we both know it won't work here to many witnesses & lots of iPhone's to record what went down.
