Ok I am going to make an escape from work early. Put in extra hours today. I want to try out Thermalito although it is a bit farther. I will stay posted and may join you at Folsom.
Where is the launch for Berryessa? It looks like inclines and trees all around. Or do you have to drive way into the winding road around the lake?

Folsom was F'ing EPIC today!!! On my 9m all day. Wind was a little up & down, but when it came up I could have been on my 7m. Biggest crowd I've seen at Folsom. Definitely good times today.

Re: Folsom Sessions - Fall 2011
FYI, Berryessa doesn't work when there's any E in the wind like there was this time around.
The Berryessa launch is all the way around the lake on the west side about half way up, so even for someone who lives 5 minutes from Monticello Dam (me) it takes almost as long to get there as to get to Folsom.
However, most years (not this year) the west side of the Valley is much windier than the east side, so Berryessa goes off on days when Folsom is dead.

It says 10M, but it's really a 9.

Where are you guys getting your forecasts? iKitesurf stopped doing the daily briefings a few weeks ago. Anyway, if anyone is driving to Folsom from SF sometime and has room, I'd appreciate a ride.

Folsom Point will be ON tomorrow. Starts around 10am and goes all day. If coming out, bring your smaller kites as well because it could be blowing over 30mph.
