I agree for the clean up, I'd be happy to help, but it's waaaay beyond what boardsports does with their beach clean up (aka, pick up tiny rocks at low tide).
Cleaning up the launch cove is one thing, but from what I can see in the pictures above there is so much drift wood and crap that you can't even ride behind the islands! Plus I'm not sure what we can do about the water at high tide...
Heavy Machinery wouldn't be 100% necessary with a couple of good chainsaws.

When were those pictures taken? Middle of the winter or early March?

Well the high tide photos were taken Feb 11th

i think i took high tide pic feb 22
Riding used and closeout kites and boards from e-bay,craigslist,ikitesurf, and local surf shops.Now riding home made foils

I am sure those closer to Sherman can do the cleanup and those closer to Crissy can attend the Swap meet.

Crissy beach has a lot of driftwood too, and we are casually making a dent in it, and awaiting for the park service bulldozer to do the big stuff.
