Just want to experiment with my shop and some extra baltic or russian birch. Always was interested in shaping surfboards but didn't wat to deal with cost and headache of epoxy and foam cores. Ply seems easier to work with if you have the right tools.

Why not foam and glass.. etc. Whats the big deal?

My best bet it evenings, first time it will take a few hours but you'll learn most of the basics.
The other day a guy with a SlingShot left his pump and bag, I gave them to Crammer for safe keeping. Do you have any idea who's they are?? I waited for quite a while but on-one showed...

I know who it is, he had a 20m Slingshot Machine and a Slingshot Surfboard. His name is Fred and just moved here from Argentina. He frequents OB quite a bit so if I run into him, I will pass on the info that Mike has his stuff. Do you have Mike's #?
As far as evenings go, they sound perfect, I will chat with the wife and give you a call.
