that is too crazy, landing a kite when your kite is in air? forget about it. Yuri, buy landing his kite you are contributing to the problem;

Also, to your second point; when people land my kite I used to make a b-line to my kite to get it from the catcher, but as I take my second stride the person places it safely down on the sand. Are these people also in the wrong for not waiting for me to grab my kite? What is the rule regarding assisted landings?

Thanks.

well, i think yuri can luanchand land a kite with his kite in the air..
we all do it from time to time

he just needs the kite flyer to "drop the bar "and get to there kite.
park the kite and then go roll up there lines..

i see this too, all to often ...

let me ask you all

How big is your KITE foot print...?

do you need 3 guys to ground crew you...?
do you need someone to hold your kite wile you slowly roll your lines up...?
or do you kite in front of the put in blocking and makeing a water hazerd..?

HOW BIG IS YOUR KITE FOOT PRINT..?

Just to be clear....I didn't land him, he had already crashed it and it was about to tumble away, so I just grabbed the leading edge to steady. That's when he pulled on his bar and lines instead of grabbing the kite....his kite went over my head and turned me into crouching tiger, my kite crashed. Made me kinda crabby about doing a favor.

ANd that's all I have to say about that.

o come on yuri
this is the stuff we all need to talk about...
then we all know

i also get tried of kiters with tight lines
when iam try n to luanch them
let me roll the kite over "then tighten the lines"
some kiters pull so hard with the kite on the ground i cant roll the kite over.

Yuri, I saw your kite at Sherman last weekend with lines hooked up wrong and crossed on a launch attempt. It took 4 people 10 minutes to fix it on the fly. I guess your footprint is bigger than you'd like.

Let's fight the battles at the beach, not the computer. If somebody does something stupid, tell them quickly and with authority. Don't whine about it the next day with your keyboard strength.
