Seasoned? Ha, ha. Thanks man. I've only been out once, but I'm LOVING it so far.

For one day of riding you have gone from "does it have a clutch?" and "I watched a youtube video on how to shift gears" to 2-3' foot jumps on the track, a smooth run down a black diamond, standing up, not stalling more than once. your a natural dude. So maybe not seasoned but prematurely gone pro! It's blatantly obvious from your kiting and biking that you possess some alien ability to watch and learn in obsurdly short periods of time. AMAZING!

lets go ride soon. I put a new clutch cable on and longer lever so the action is way smoother. but of course i come back to the shop only to find a pool of oil under my bike. trying to figure this one out.

I know this is a longshot, but if any of you gearheads are gearing up for a Carnegie get-together, I'd love to join you. Only problem is i don't have a dirtbike to ride! I have experience since the age of 16 riding street and dirt, but cleared out the bikes after starting kiting.

If anyone is going out with the crew and has a spare, I'd be stoked to go!

Just looked at my carnegie calendar and it says there is a huge MX event Dec. 6th and 7th. Park is not closed but it will too busy to really enjoy. Either plan on Hollister or if you guys can, during the week is pure bliss up there. I guess we will play it by ear as we get closer to that date.

Yuri ,
Hollister will work for Ella and I. Hell , even the Dirt Patch off of 101 heading to Sears Point will work !!!!
Ollie , you are welcome to join us and take my bike for a spin.I'm an old man and need to take a break between sessions.
Cheers ,
Bruce

Ollie, you got armor?

the saying goes..."dress for the crash, not the ride."

If not, i'm sure Ollie would look great in my pink pants and armor.

Hahaha, you're soooo funny. ;)

Well, if they fit it might make a good photo shoot. But if a bunch of guys are heading out for a scheduled day, it would be fun to meet up with you all and hang and bum a few rides on a bike or two. Ella, maybe Yoko could take yours out for a spin too. :?: :P

As for me, I'd promise not to do hillclimbs or triples... As a matter of fact, shortly before I started kiting I used to hit Club Moto on a rebuilt FMF RM 125 and decided to rethink things after looping out on a triple and landing on my back. It hurt and was sore for a while, the bike needed only minor repairs (they're tough!), but I actually found kiting to be, in my mind, much safer than my street and dirt motorcycles.

yeah dude, stay away from my bikes! I always fear letting X-pro's ride my stuff.

on the other hand i do have 4 full sets of armor that i am sure you would fit into.

We are still planning on sat. at hollister.

i have a xr200 if Yoko knows how to ride.

i say you just go buy your own bike ollie. You know you will get back into it and it is the perfect counter season sport.

You are too good to be borrowing and trashing peoples bikes.
