It worked out. Turned on about 5:00 at Sherman and kites were out till sunset. Your 9 would have done the job, Paul. For all the grief ikitesurf gets for their forecasts, Godsey called it at least 12 hours before NWS did.

self-policing kiters is becoming a full time job!
what happened to common sense, mutual respect??!!!!
as they said "spacial awareness"

last 30+kt. busy day at waddle saw a kiter clip a windsurfers mast with
there lines,he threw his hand up in frustration, and i did as well.
we take A LOT of space on the water, please use it with respect.
peace,unity,love & havin' fun.

Sunday night was quite nice at SI. Special thanks to whoever it was that brought my board downwind to me after my back roll kite loop turned into a mega-tomahawk. I think he was on a white and grey RRD.

LMAO! Ok, haven't heard the term mega-tomahawk before but the image that went through my head both hurt and made me bust out laughing. =D> :P  Sorry if it hurt man but that was funny!

Is that a kite loop that ends up SLAMMING you down kinda like a tomahawk striking down? :axe:

Oh, shit. I don't look forward to that ride!

It hurt. It still hurts. Not looking for sympathy at all because it's my own damn fault for messing up the timing. There are plenty of others here who've experienced some variation (probably more extreme than mine) of mega-tomahawk; you havn't lived until you do.
