REAL STORY-

One day my father was called into Col. Huffs office to discuss spelling errors in his flight report, (this was during his second tour in Veitnam) -

The discussion began with 5'4 130lb Huff (who had a naturally very deep voice) proclaiming that in 3ed grade HE was made captain of the spelling team.....

When allowed to speak, my father, who was standing at ATTENTION reponded, "Sir!, in 3ed grade I beat up the captain of the spelling team"

Col.Huff lauged and intently became one of Dad's life long friends.
