Hey All,

I'm sorry to hear Club Sherman won't be going off on Saturday night. It's amazing what great ambassadors people like Ollie and Maui Mike are for the rest of us bozos.

Nice Chris! I forgot all about this video. This was from 2006 I think... maybe earlier. That was mike Ferral on the turn-tables. I believe Ollie rocked it the following year or may have even guest spun for that party. Those were the days... and yes, we could do that again. That was a tight group with a great vibe.

It's always interesting to see people's reactions during these moments of controversy.
Ollie - I'm still trying to figure out what "it" is that everyone should have stopped the bachelorette party from doing exactly. Since when is dancing, kiting and having fun a problem?

Certainly the pole dancing may have gotten a little wild, but as far as I understand, any damage to the roof was fixed - if that's not the case then all of us should rectify that however we can, I just tried calling Mina this morning to ask about it and it turns out she doesn't have a phone. Perhaps anyone that is up there now can let us know if there is damage to the roof at all? If there is and there are costs I'll be happy to spearhead a fundraising effort.

As far as the other stuff that went down, including breaking the salsa codes (which I don't think any of the bachelorettes would ever do) we simply weren't involved.

And honestly, I was the last one of us on the dance floor and I was fast asleep before 2am, I didn't hear any music or yelling, just slept blissfully after an awesome day of kiting, dancing and hanging with amazing friends.

So while I am bummed that Club Sherman is cancelled, I am far more bummed by the rude emails, accusations and insincere apologies.

It's not unappreciated all the efforts that go into putting on these events, and I sincerely thank Ollie, DJ Guacamole, Maui Mike, Ocean Rodeo, RRD, Slingshot, Swav, Mikee and all the others who have put on so many great dance parties, Demos and BBQS at Sherman.

When I spoke to Mina Saturday morning about it she said we can go as long as we like until someone complains, as soon as there is a complaint then she'd shut it down.. from where we were in the middle of the parking lot you couldn't even hear the music so I don't know what all the fuss is about..

I think you just caught her at a bad moment, she was dealing with the aftermath and thinking there was a lot of roof damage..so stop complaining and start planning!

As an addendum - When I say none of us would ever "break the salsa code" I do not mean what that windsurfer stripper chick was implying - which as far as I understand it - in her world "breaking the salsa code" means not sleeping with someone after a good dance, in which case we will likely almost always "break the salsa code"! :shock: :naughty: :shhh: :whistle:
