Massive wind at Bodega Bay starting Tuesday

Moblvet i'm going nuts with that california coastline site you sent me, i've practically run the whole coast now. There are some great spots i want to kite, sounds like you have the north bay wired. A few thoughts are Bolinas lagoon, Abbots lagoon, then way up the coast the Eel river. I'd be down to give the estero americano a shot, I think the shark pit would be way crazier though on a big north with storm winds from the south.

Dillon is usually pretty empty in the winter; summer is another story.
Other than the sharks, it's not a bad place to try out kiting in the ocean -- it's a very long downwind beach, so you can always walk back up after you eat sh&t (unless, well, you know...).
There's often a big hole right where the dune bluff starts, so you often need a bigger kite than the wind on the beach would otherwise indicate.
You should pretty much expect to self-launch and self-land when you're there, though, unless you are meeting a buddy.
