LIsten to these guys, the learning curve is short compared to other sports but do it with safe, forgiving equipment. One good yank and you will be done with the sport forever...I definitely would recommend a bow...I had to ditch my kite (both let go of the bar and punch my emergency release at Sherman 2 days ago. I fly a bow, have 3 seasons now and barely had time to escape the blackerry bushes ... You would be reading about me in the hospital in the posts if I had been flying a C-kite. Not dissing them, just get some experience on a safer kite and then make the decision of what to ride.
