So... can you tell us what it feels like?

(I can assure you that the day you DO go 40 mph on a kiteboard will feel like a VERY special session indeed.)

I saw Andy running and I saw the traffic on Shorline directly behind him. Given that everyone in Alameda marches 25 mph or faster I gotta tell ya.
The dude was moving [glow=red]FAST![/glow]
I have no problem calling his 35+ solidly real.

speed is relevent to space..
that is 100 mph down highway 5 is not a big deal..
but do n 20 mph in your bath tub is very exciting!
you go boy.

I think Andy's watch is defective in that it doesnt have einstein's theory of relativity correction programmed in.

As andy went faster and faster time slowed down. His watch did not register that time slowed down and did not correct, hence the time elapsed for people standing on the beach watching him was GREATER than what his watch actually read. Therefore andy's Distance/TIME > than what we would see on the beaches distance/time, because for andy, time slowed down, and his watch did not register. Therefore if Andy's time< Our Time then 1/Andy's time > 1/OurTime, and since we multiply a constant of distance we get

Andy's Distance/Time(speed) > Our observed Distance/time.

I think Andy should have gotten his GPS from stephen hawking.

maybe the east bay regional parks police would be willing to use ther radar guns on me, but then I`d probably be issued a ticket

andy
when i go fast on the water in 19, 25 foot boats, i look at the water to judge how it looks
(the one has twin 200 horse power outboards that log 53 mph on the gps with a good deep vee hull shape that can handle RuFe water..)
anyway going 20 m.p.h. on the water is fast.
So iam sure your hual n the mail.ive seen you speed burn on some reaches. how do you feel about speed runs in simi rugh water..?
do your thigh musles burn after a bit..?
and what can kiters do when thay incounter you on the water?
(dude i know your right up on the shore... but just throw it out there to talk about it ?)kite up ?,kite down or freak out and go the other way..?
o the burst ive seen look like 30 something.....
you can deffintly hull ass. now pick a good line and let it FlY.

and ebep will send a choppper to pop your bubble.

Hehehe. Theory of relativity. Time stopped for Andy.

That's funny, Kevin. =D>

Kevin also forgot to mention that due to Andy's high speed, the relativity theory would also predict that he would age slower than the rest of us.

Which also explains why Charlie looks older - he just kites slower than Andy!
