Yes I'm still healthy and kiting, been honing in some wave assisting air tricks such as backroll grabs. That's about the best I can manage down here in So Cal with 13mph wind and a 12m modded out for light wind (and that's on a good day).
Seems like the wind only gets strong enough with my setup to defeat waves about once every other week.

So I've turned to other stuff you can do with light wind, a kite, and a beach. First thing- kite curls... second thing- traction kiting... third thing- picking up girls.

The first two things are going great. I'm keeping in shape with the unhooked arm workouts.

Kinda got me thinking...
This is definitely a cool stat.
And I wonder who has bragging rights of achieving the highest ratio of real speed to wind speed?
I guess so far it's me unofficially at 3.0

P.S. This is a hint for anyone who wants to trade kites for something. I can design a solar and/or wind system for you and manage getting the permit if your county does it by email. (we're talking some good gear for that though). I can do the install too, but then we'd be talking a really solid kite vacation too like maybe a season at La Ventana.
I definitely need a 7, maybe a 9 and something better than my current low wind 12.
I really need the 7 - last week i was out in salton sea with 35 mph wind and only a 12m - unfortunately i did not feel like getting 50 feet of air at a new spot with the only good kite i have right now (2 of my kites are down for along the seam LE-bladder leaks
