What to Wear/Bring: wear sturdy shoes that can get dirty. we will walk along shoreline and pick up small debris rocks. rocks will go onto an electric wheel barrel cart, and then we will drive those rocks up above water line to stash above the water line. bring work gloves if you have them.
Background: The Coyote Pt Shoreline has had a significant rebuild and improvement over the last two years. The shoreline was reinforced with large rocks, a new pedestrian/bike path was put in, 3 large access ramps down to the beach were installed, and the old pilings were removed. This is now a world class windsurf/kitesurf/stand up paddle spot! We just need help removing small rocks at the shoreline that interfere with smooth footing. We need as many helpers as possible to make it easier! Please come out and join us if you are able! Remember free parking for all volunteers.
