Come join us for a Best Kiteboarding demo with KGB Kiteboarding April 30th from 12 to 5pm at Royce Beach/Toll Plaza! We will have a fun BBQ and music on the beach after with Fritz and DJ Guacamole. If we do not have wind on the 30th, alternate date will be May 1! Come Ride With Us!

What is Toll Plaza like with a north wind?
It's looking strong from the north for the demo there this weekend.

Low tide at 1 pm helps a little bit, but I'd be very careful since if you screw up you are headed straight to the bridge. I've kited North winds rhere, nasty wind shadow on the inside, nice if you make it outside. You need to be tacking upwind as soon as you get up, must be comfortably powered. Might be an issue if the place gets too crowded as there is little room for mistakes on Northerly winds.
