New kite and control bar

I just got a new 10m kite and bar in the mail. I ordered a 50cm bar, but they sent a 55. Question: is it worth the $15 (and the week or so delay) or whatever to send it back, or should I learn to be happy with what I'm served?
I'm kind of new to kiting, but it seems to me, that I want my stuff (in general) to be smaller and go faster...is there any advantage to a longer bar?

50cm is a good general bar which I have used on 7M LEI's all the way through to my 15M Foil kites and I have two. I have one 55CM bar which I only use on my 15M/18M Foils. I would swap.

It turns out they only had 55cm bars left and they were on sale. For the $200, I'll probably just keep it...since that's about the cost of replacement strings.
2) why are replacement kite strings so expensive?

FWIW, a longer bar will increase your kite's turning speed (because there is more leverage), so if that is what you're after then you got just what you needed.
