Rule #1 when being held down in the wave. Don't struggle at all and go for the ride. You won't be able to surface, while the wave has its way with you. An impact vest will make it easier to surface once the wave has its way with you :)

Yojimbo, is Dillon up and running? It seems that Waddell is taking its sweet time to get going.

They cut the scene before she passes out in this clip. It totally captured what i experienced the first time i was held down. I was happily shredding, then i crash and end up fighting for my life.

Hey drroc! Yes, definitely the thing to do is conserve your energy, don't panic and go for the ride. Can't comment on Dillon, haven't been out for awhile.
