$1800 a month?
Good luck.
I know you are in the D.R. but if you are trying to get a web developer out of the Bay Area with the listed skill set you are not going to get any one for that salary. In CA by law you would have to hire an employee hourly with those skills if the salary was under $100k a year.
FYI - Java/JavaScript is not a skill. Java and JavaScript are very different.

Is there kitesurfing in India?

Why would that job opening require one to move to DR?

No, there is no kitesurfing in India. Wind doesn't exist there.

Mr. Al,
Really, those job skills with just 3 years expereince, for just a little under 100K/year? Where can I find job listings salaries ranges on the web for the Bay Area?

This position is for someone that loves to kiteboard and wants a break from the big city life. Living here is cheaper, apartments are $300-500 and its not squalor. You do not need a car here. Its for someone that wants a lifestyle not someone that wants 100k living in a city with cold water. Someone that wants to work in an industry they enjoy.

yeah, if I had that skill set, I would think very hard about taking that job. DR is awesome. Yeah, you won't get rich doing it, but you'll be happy....

Average_ male I didn't say you HAD to pay $100k. You would just have to pay them hourly not a salary if you payed less for a full time employee. It's the law ;)

Yes salry.com is always a good guide for when looking for work in your own city. That of course is a San Fran Wage. Do keep in mind the living expenses here are a FRACTION of what it costs to live and work in San Fran.

Any way its posted for someone that might be interested.
