Wind into the Bay on Saturday, pre-frontal NW. It's gonna be butt cold, though, so bring your gloves and hoods.

Current forecast for the bay:
Sat
NW winds 15 to 25 kt...becoming W 5 to 15 kt with occasional gusts to 35 kt. Chance of showers.
Sounds like standard winter storm fair to me -- nuke for 1-2 hours, then shut off.
And if you want to live on the wild side, here's the coast forecast:
NW winds 20 to 30 kt. Wind waves 3 to 8 ft. NW swell 10 to 15 ft and S 2 ft. Chance of showers.
That's 25 ft. high waves by my math. Should be some kites out at Mavs.

I am waiting for the rain for weeks now. Will be especially nice as my new board will be in by then. Killer web deal at
Slingy. Was really surprised to see the price that low. No need to buy a used board then...
Cu out there and dont kill you in the waves, G

That's a killer price on a killer board. I've got the exact board and for freestyle it's a very good board. If you've ridden Brunotti and liked them, you'll like this more. Hard edging, huge pop, great flex and killer landings. The only thing that may be a deal breaker for some is the 26" stance when 24" and sometimes 25" tends to be the standard. But that's what cool about the board too, no stance adjustment, no handle - take it or leave it. At that price ($349 w/free UPS Ground?!), when many boards like Nobile, Shinn, Brunotti, etc. , which aren't any better at all, go for between 700-850.
Get one before they're gone...

In checking out the site's web specials a bit more, killer deals on apparel as well. For all you SS riders, you can score a bunch of different T's, short and long sleeve for $9.95, Sweatshirts and hoodies for $19.95, and jackets for $30 and $50. Not too shabby!
