Anyone know of anywhere to buy a HD kite video?
Watching all the old dvd's seem so low res and outdated in 4:3 low res format now that we are spoiled with HD everything.

Look out your window... or do you not have HD windows?
I guess the yellow Cabrinhas drifting by are not that exciting though

I have not found any HD kiteboarding videos yet, but I did find a fantastic HD snow kiting video called "Something Stronger". The video, and music is the best I have seen in a kiting video. The video comes as a DVD, but it includes a high def version in .mp4 format on the disc. Be careful were you get it from because they only included the HD version with the International release, I got it from snowkitefilm.com.
Check out the trailer:

What really sucks is all the new videos advertise that they're shot in HD (ie the new Ben Wilson movie "Coming Together"). Yet they are only available on DVD...what the hell's the point?

resurrecting this in case somebody dug up some HD kiting material... made the mistake of caving in buying first new TV in a decade (I know, foregone opportunity cost of a kite), leapfrogged to HD and now of course normal TV/DVDs look like crap (possible exception Barbara Walters looks better in SD).
Only thing I could find is the kiteboarding OBX episode on the Epic Conditions (Weather Channel). Incidentally, is a Warren Miller production, and btw even for skiing the blu ray picks are pretty slim/mixed.
