New kiters: be logical when it comes to storm& spring wind

Hello,
This topic has been posted many, many times before but just a reminder (again since it is the new season) that if you are a new kiter (novice) just be careful when going on on stormy days on inadequate equipment.
I am not trying to deter you from having fun, or keeping you out of the beach access (in no position to do that)
Just use some common sense...If you see the veterans using 7M kite then don't try to pump up a 12M even if it is your ONLY kite. First I would like to say that I am pup myself in this sport (2.5 season) so I should not even have a post on this matter..
But yesterday at Alameda I felt as if I was somewhat rude or a snob by saying to this gentleman: "Hey just be careful ok? You are pumping a 12M there and it's nuking".
Funny but you can sense a beginner... so sorry if it was somewhat "profiling".
Luckily sense came to him cause he packed the kite away. Again sorry if I made you doubt your ability. Who knows you may be some pro and that you usually kite at some nuking venue with a big kite? (in that case i just made an ass out of myself)
Anyway....just be careful. Go seek that 7M and a 9M kite! (kite under control is much more fun) or else it is probably safer to stay on the beach and watch. At least you won't end up in the hospital.
This hold true especially at Sherman where the wind is wicked and the launch sketchy.
Thanks for reading
