So I was stuck at Sherman during the summer...

I'm looking for a waterproof case for a 3rd generation shuffle, that has buttons on the case.

I traveled up with some friends this past summer to Sherman from San Diego for a weekend. To make a long story short, my engine died and had to be replaced. So I remained at Sherman for a couple of weeks with a rental car waiting for the car to get fixed (long story...). Met a woman (forgot her name) down at the water's edge who is going to have some surgery on her knee. Her husband had this wp shuffle case that I'm looking for. Anyone know who I'm talking about? They live in Bodega Bay.

If she is reading this, I got back OK, $4000 poorer, and the students are mostly good this year.

Thanks for your help.

Steve-

I think you are talking about Michelle and Dan Koff. Believe they are currently driving to La Ventana for the winter. Michelle is often on facebook and should be easily found. Great people. Great life. I will send her a message for you.

I don't understand most of what you wrote, but this site is cool:

The case I saw Dan using was for the 3rd gen shuffle. It looked like an iskin, but with buttons under the clear rubber. Didn't make the player very much bigger, and I believe it still had a clip. Had to use wp headphones.

They are not showing the arm band that the case fits into. It sits under a plastic/window that allows you to operate it. They do just have a soft skin case, but I really like the hard case. And at that sale price you can't beat it. All you need to do is order ear buds with it.

I think you are referring to the ipod nano; I'm referring to the ipod shuffle.

Anyone know of the wp case I'm talking about? No more controls on the headphone wire, but on the case itself? Thanks

Steve
