I wonder if a storm ever hits perfectly on weekends this winter...It seems it's always windy when I absolutely can't go...I hope I still remember how to kite!

Oh I really hope it goes tomorrow because I don't think I can hold it any longer. Pretty please, with sugar on top :)

Forecast is for NW 15-25 on the coast tomorrow and Thursday, too.

Anyone up for hitting the waves at Dillon tomorrow in the pm? I got a new directional board I want to try out. Waves are supposed to be less than 10 ft. tall!

Thursday I will be busy trying to keep my citrus orchards from getting frozen in the arctic air heading our way for the weekend (a cold storm with no snow, how bad does that suck...)

Do you still sell your citrus or any other organic veggie on Sat, Paul? Berkeley? I should at least eat some healthy food while not kiting...

Yup, Saturday farmer's market MLK and Center st. Berkeley. 10-3. Terra Firma Farm.

I have at least one BAK poster who shops regularly, goes by the name of Jeb these days. Jeb Mud.

Paul, you'll have company at Dillon. I know a few people heading up that way.

FYI...when typical NorCal breaks are ten foot and over, Dillon is usually half the size. It's a place to go to avoid big surf. On top of that, there is so much distance between the beach and the sandbar, you can play around in chop rather than pounding surf.

Watch out for the landlord...he's been in full effect up there lately. I surf there a lot in the winter and know many of the local surfers. It's been an active whitey season.

I found out last night that a coupla visiting kids took out there daddy's flats-boat to watch the local dock builder hand feed the tigar sharks (after dark) that frequent the harbor at night.
After the fun.. they went for a fast spin ramming a day marker (pile).. Very lucky no one got killed, boat is a mess.
On the bright side, I saw a Manatee in the harbor a little while back... SO COOL!

Dont feed the fish,
L.M.G.
