Slingshot Rally 9M

Almost all season I used a 2012 Slingshot Rally 10M, riding mostly at Point Emery and Marina Bay on a directional. So I'm looking for a discounted new 2013-2015 and all I can find are 9M kites. It seems like they are everywhere. Anyone know why 10M is so scarce and 9M so plentiful? Oren told me the new 9M pulls like a 10M but I really don't want to take a chance on being underpowered.

In my experience with the Rallys (I've flown them since they were introduced in 2011), the 2014 and 2015 10's are more powerful than the 2013 and earlier models.

So maybe the current 2014/15 9m "pulls like a <2014 10m", but the new kites definitely have more grunt (and are faster turning).

I LOVE my 2014 10m and 2015 8m Rallys. Haven't flown the current 9m.

I would look at the sizes of the rest of your quiver to decide whether a 9m or 10m makes the most sense. I'm a 6m, 8m, 10m guy. Works for me (mostly coast kiting, little bit of bay and Sherman too).

I have 10m & 12m 2015 Rally's I ride mostly.

Good grunt, fast turning and really fly forward in the window well vs the Wainmans which I have ridden forever.

The 10m Rally looked smaller in the air than the 9m Wainman Smoke.

Love my Rally's.
