Hi,

I'm flying to SJD in mid January and I will have to travel to La Ventana (with the gear). Does anyone have any recommendations how to get there - other than renting a car? (I'm still considering renting a car, but want to know other options.)

You could use a shuttle service like www.ecobajatours.com to get from SJD to La Paz and from La Paz to La Ventana you could just arrange a taxi with the place where you'll be staying.

There's a bus too-- once per day I think, SJD to LV, ask Baja Joe's Resort!
