Alameda - Lost Kite - Cabrinha Recon
Posted: Thu Aug 16, 2007 10:14 pm
I'm posting this for a fellow kiter, Kahn (spelling correct?) since his user id is not valid yet.
Not sure what happened, but his kite came off his harness and he had to release and let go of the kite, don't know if he had a kite leash. It went tumbling down towards Harbor Bay across the small bridge around 4 p.m. today.
Its a Cabrinha Recon with an element bar, 4 line C kite, 10 meter. Its an older molder kite, but its only been used about 4 times, so still a very good kite. The kite is yellow and black trim.
If anyone has seen it, please let me know.
By the way, how does the recon work? I was told that you can relaunch this C kite backwards. Anyone know how this is done on this kite? Old school, yet interesting way to relaunch a kite.
