Well i second that motion.

I actually DID buy the Vibrams. Turned out it sucked getting in/out of the straps. They also rubbed me raw on both feet in one sherman weekend so i ended up returning them. Winter came along and bought a par of split toe booties for surfing on. 3mm. They work better with the twin tip straps, but they still suck (awesome for surfing on!) so unless there are presents dangers (land or water) i'll still go barefooted. I also have scary hairy feet that can take a lot of cold so i'm okay.

Conclusion. Booties worked out better.
