I'm in Bodega Bay this weekend, and am wondering if it is kiteable on the ocean side at Bodega Dunes beach/Salmon Creek.
Worth it, or just make the drive down to dillon?

Ive kited salmon a few times and if its windy its great. The wind may be better there than Dillon. Its been fluky at the Dillon launch especially if the dunes warm up.

Re: Bodega Dunes beach?
I checked out Salmon Creek beach last week and it was a bit of a bust - the rip was really strong so I was woefully underpowered even with ~15kts. I took a few tacks, but wasn't really down to have a long walk back up the beach so I packed up and headed into the bay instead.
As kitesurfitis said, this beach seems to only be good when it's cranking; otherwise you're gonna get sucked down the beach pretty quickly.
