Ollie, San Diego will blow Monday, almost certain. You need to go to S to Coronado or N to Cardiff to get the S wind though. Call the guys at Calikites and they will give you the goods.

Years ago year I rode from O'side harbor to South Carlsbad in and out of the waves using stacked kites (22meters of Foil).. This kite thing tripped out a few folks back then, the day before I did it in reverse riding a 4 meter...
It may not blow often but when it does it can be fun! Enjoy

Well, Alameda was fun. Kinda up and down as i am sure every spot is today. Sounds like tomorrow is the nuclear day.

today was nice at HMB until it dropped to about 5mph and send everyone scrambling to get back to the beach. Got a few of those famous HMB elevator rides where you never know what floor you are gonna end up at when you jump. I did one jump where i jumped.. the seemed to hang motionless for a bit then got lifted up even higher

Thanks for the post this morning--got me out of bed and onto a kite. Alameda was pretty good today. Beats the crap out of standing in the rain, like yesterday afternoon.

looks like there's a window between early (now) and noon
before it gets too insane and rainy
Good to meet some of you at Alemeda yesterday
Like to hit another new (to me) spot this morning
Any takers?
Ian from Chicago
Update: I'm heading to HMB call for report 773 791 SURF (7873)
