I'm sorry but you guys are jumping to conclusions with no facts.
I'm not going to sit here and defend every aspect of Royce's business in detail because that's his job but since you don't know how he teaches or where he teaches for land (or water) based lessons you should not be making such large sweeping assumptions about his operations.
Get the facts first - then make judgments.

I think that the original question was not directed to a specific kiting instructor, but it regarded a specific location... Is that location a proper (ideal) location to teach kiting, or not...???tgautier wrote:I'm sorry but you guys are jumping to conclusions with no facts.

So, in that context... What are the relevant pragmatic facts/challenges that affect the issue?
Outside of that, everything else could be categorized as judgmental... including defending a non-issue.

This is NOT ABOUT a PERSON or how he teaches, it's about a SPECIFIC LOCATION- (ONLY)

Facts:
1. people in cars who don't give a shit about kiteboarding downwind.
2. Stuff goes wrong in the worst possible way, eventually.
3. not worth it.
yep, I stand by my blanket judgement.
