Sweet. Any rider IDs? Seems like lots of Rev. Z in there, who else?

Perfect timing to get stoked for manana.

It says 10M, but it's really a 9.

Eric, use the insert video tool in the post GUI. Like this:

http://www.youtube.com/v/M65FuZCaSfg[/video]

Kind of let's you see where Gideon stands in his wave height calls...I call that 10 ft. occasionally a little bigger. I believe Gideon called it 20 feet...Mav's was 25 to 30 feet to put it in perspective.

Good vid...thanks!

sometimes Gary Bronson...

I was there that day. This [excellent] video is not showing the big waves (well, you can see at least one closing out behind the rider). By all the white on most of those [very nice] rides, you can see that previous waves started crashing way back further ... indicating larger.

I guess the big ones were hard to ride. I myself decided not to even try riding one ... I was very excited enough just to have gotten to the outside where I could be safe and watch those monsters form under and around me.

Before I went out, I saw a windsurfer right in the slot and the peak of the wave was OVER his mast.

I would call it 20ft.
