Trip to California...

Hello all,

I'm going to be out in the L.A. area on 8/11 looking to kite somewhere. That may be too far south for most of you on this board, but hoping you will know something about it. I've called a local shop, Captain Kirks, and they were saying that my best bet will probably be at Leo Carillo. I live in MI and mostly kite on the Great Lakes, but I have also kited in Puerto Rico and Florida. I'm bringing my 13m and 9m Waroos as well as a proof 151 and an element 134, though I may only bring the proof to save weight.

I have a 5/3 wetsuit that I think I'll bring as well, based on what I've read. Is it really that cold? Anyway, also good to learn as much as you can about a new spot, so let me know anything helpful!
