I'm ready to move to a smaller board (riding a 153 now). I'm 6'3" 185. Probably going to go with a Liquid Force Recoil. I'm debating between a 133 or 136. Would I notice any major differences between the two sizes that I should be aware of, considering my height/weight?

Re: Board size recommendations
Hey, I ride the LF Recoil. Killer board. I love it. (I've had 3 versions...the 2007 recoil 130, the 2008 recoil comp 131, 2008 recoil 133 - pictured in my avatar). It's pretty much the perfect board. Bomber, good upwind, great pop, cheap . . .
I'm about 165 (yeah, i think i've gotten fatter) and I ride the 133, I would recommend the 136 for you no doubt in my mind. You could ride a 133 yes and have a great time, but I think you'll have the most fun with a bit more float. The 133 will bog down for you in light wind.
in case you're curious, here's my setup:
the board comes with 2.0" fins. Personally, i hate those fins and put 1.5" instead. If you buy the board from a shop, you might be able to convince them to put the 1.5" on instead. the 2.0"s make going upwind easier and jumping easier, but the 1.5" make it feel much skatier and lets you slide the board around..i also set it up with the widest possible stance (that way the board feels small but still has the volume when it gets light)...
finally, if you see me on the water (or on the beach) flag me down and you're welcome to try the 133 . . .
oh one more thing, they actually didn't change the board from 2007 to 2008 except for the graphics, so if you want to save money you could try to find a 2007...personally, i like the 2008 graphics better tho.

I ride the Aura Comp and agree with Adam! The 136 will be the perfect size for you. Great boards! Best board I've ridden! I'll be at 3rd ave on Sunday if you want to try mine out.

Re: Board size recommendations
on that same topic, I'm getting a Neptune pow surfboard in the next few days. Anybody out there have one of these? I weigh 210 and I'm thinking about going with the 5'6. The next size up is a 6'0. Any recommendations?
