Where was your car parked when it was burglarized?

Downtown Santa Cruz in the busiest most well lit garage. I've kept my gear in my car while I've gone about my life for years. Never had a problem.

I'll keep an eye out for you then. A friend of mine had his bass guitar stolen from his car in the downtown parking structure. Two days later, we found the transient who stole the guitar walking with the instrument near the homeless shelter by CostCo. A group of us recovered the guitar without any problems.

I'll ask my friends who jog regularly at the Pogonip to check out the illegal camps there, maybe some transient is using the gear as makeshift tents.

There is definitely a rise in petty theft in the downtown area.

Thank you. I appreciate the assistance.

Yep, the times they have a changed. I now leave nothing in my car.

It was during that week when there was a big migration of transients in town on their way to San Diego. There were alot of new faces demanding money from me that week. The cold snap seems to have sent them on their way.
