this is SO COOL! best story EVER.

come on! let's hear some updates!

Perhaps we should make a little neoprene sheriff's badge and make yuri wear it when he kites.

Haven't quite got it yet. I'm trying to set up a little sting operation with the cops. It's called a civil stand by. Someone besides me b/c I'm incompetent poses as a buyer and we set up an appointment with them. We have a plan with a beat cop nearby adn nail 'em.

Supposedly a cop is going to call me back soon to get all the details worked out. Yuri's stuck at work right now. I'm afraid to try it on my own since I'm pretty sure that they're on to me. Anyone gotta littlle time and a taste for playing cops an robbers?

The cops don't care

Officer Borden sounds like he tried to get his superiors to agree to a sting but every single Sargeant said no.

So Yuri and I are going to go over there tonight to buy my stuff back. If they still have it.

wtf? i'm really confused. are you saying that the cops aren't gonna help you get this guy and you're just going to have to BUY your gear back?

if nothing else, in the end, just buy it all back, and sue the guy in small claims court. you're basically guaranteed to win and I bet you can tack on a couple extra hundred for "lost time kiting"
