So, i just got done talking with some of the guys in our shop and we concluded that we would love to clean house. We do a lot of exhibit work and have TONS of carpet. mostly cut to 10'x20' and 20'x20' sizes.
So who ever wants to make the executive decision to accept this up there, get in touch with me soon, as we are throwing away about $1,000,000 of used tradeshow booths, exhibits, carpets, lighting, etc. It's disgusting what we are paying to throw out but thats just the way the business works.

I was thinking i could bring at least 2 rolls on my truck this weekend when i go up there. We are having a dumpster brought in this next week and will only know exactly whats in them after bashing tyhe crates open. There always seems to be low voltage lighting, lots of track lighting, transformers. Like i said, it's rather disgusting what gets thrown out.
So, I'll keep an eye out for you for stuff that would seem applicable to parties.

Sorry Ramsey, you're way off base, and, imho, owe Mr. Gur an apology. Not only did you crash your kite on top of Zeev without warning, you ran up the path and across the back launch in front of two other people who were waiting to land their kites. All we are trying to say here is BE EXTRA CONSIDERATE & EXTRA PATIENT on a busy weekend. That way we all have fun and there's minimal action in the Octagon. Peace.
It ain't easy being greene.

If you were there you saw that i apologied about 6 times. We shook hands, its over. If the public apology wasn't enough here's the internet one: Mr. Gur sorry, again, for crashing my kite on your head. I hope you can return the favor to me sometime and then we can just laugh about it. Enough is said on that incident. Dewey i didn't mean to hijack your thread. Tried to keep it on track, but I had to defend myself a little.

Possible Solution.....
so....i may have a kind solution to our launch area....how about when landing someones kite, gently carry it back to the parking area and place a sandbag on it ( gently ), being aware if there are battens or not......Odds are the person landing will not drag it out to the middle and leave it?????? Debbie........ Its just a thought.
