Lots of room for ambiguity there. Windsurfer giving the kiteboarder a High Five?? Is the kiteboarding rescuing the windsurfer?

The mast on the sail looks huge, almost inflated :)

WHAT WINDSURFER? That's a Naish X2 kite ya big dummie.

now, back to dewey's thread, first of all Mr.Gnukid, wasn't there a recent post blasting you for your bad attitude and behavior while teaching? hmmm ...
and yes, there are different approaches, i think dewey is actually being diplomatic in that he is not naming names publicly, but rather a general announcement in the hope that the perpetrators will in the privacy of their own minds, go "hmm, is he talking about me?" however, we have tried to be both indirect with people at SI hoping they will 'get it' and also direct and clear with them when we realized that they didn't get it, but to no avail. leaving your 3 fully inflated kites sitting separately in the middle of the launch while you have lunch is arrogant and rude. we have tried to be polite and now we are going to get rude. i think dewey is trying to give these people a chance before us trailer trash really get pissed off. if their kites get ripped or bladders leak, oh well, i know a guy that repairs them.
bottom line: can't these people go somewhere else?

Ah... those were the days - hardly anyone kiting at SI then. Everyone set up on the beach. And there was always enough room, even at high tide :yawinkle:

Ya Scott,

Those were the days.. How dare you call me a poleboarder. That was in my past life.. I am now a full fledged stringboarder.. And I do miss that X-2.. Naish blew it when they quit making that kite...

Oh, I thought that was a windsurfer in the water; but itís another kiteboarder.Ah and yes, just as I thought, he was looking for a High Five. Kind of a dangerous situation for a high five, donít you think?
