Very nice indeed! My guess is you got those about 1 hour before sunset :). Very nice colors and captures, interesting to get some facial expressions...
Erin with your new lens you could some of those as well, but Nikkor f2.8 300mm making it around 450 with the crop sensor, that is a nice lens :).
Water housing is great idea (but mainly for pro's), but I personnaly like to stay on the side, and get a longer lens if needed.
