Mythbusters proved dynamite surfing wrong!

Anyone see the episode tonight? They tried hundreds of lbs. of TNT in a lake and tried a remote controlled surfboard. The biggest wave created was no where big enough to surf on. Thought it was funny that theu actually covered this. Look for the re-run. So needless to say that video posted is edited to all high hell.

With an ideal bottom contour, I think they might have been able to get the wave to jack up a bit and break...maybe a 1 or 2 footer that could technically be caught and barely ridden. It looked like they got a 1 foot wave rolling across a 4 foot depth...too deep for that size wave to rise and break. Also, they should have tried the dynamite closer to the surface. And the robot probably didn't paddle fast enough even if the wave did break. But I think they busted the video.

They usually like to break the robots and dummys...a good finish would have been to have the robot attempt to paddle out at a big break.

I liked Grant's wide stance at Cowells...classic.

extremlyboard,
Nice kidde' soft-porn!
Bro if you tryed to film the girls at O.B. like that you'd probably get a black eye from one of their girl friends.
If you visit S.F. I suggest you leave the cam at home or at least wear a helmit so they (the bull-dikes) wont kill you smashing it over your head...
(just kidd'n!)
