Surf Tech
If you are interested in a surf board, go with a company that has been shaping and engineering surfboards for decades.
surf tech kite boards
check out surf tech and their stick on pads, no holes required.
I have been riding the Ratboy 5'7'' and love it, I have a 5'11'' strech quad that is insane as well.
The big advantage of surf tech that I have found is durability. I have broken an SRT (5'5'' & 5'11'', mis-fish (2004/5 s/s directional), and cracked one of my firends kite company surfboard that I have had to pay for. I ride boards hard, I have also broken 6 snow boards in my career, with no forgiveness (maybe explains my ankle issue). I have not broken a surf tech and I am continually impressed with the boards durability and response.
Hope this helps

I too ride Surf tech boards almost exclusively. My last one was the 5'11" Ratboy...loved that board. But let's not kid ourselves. I break these every three to four months. I buy them used at the local shop for @ $200 so it's not a big deal but nobody makes a board that isn't going to break under a kite.
