There is a good possibility that they are not wood core i guess. I dont know that much about the fins and when i looked down in the screw holes it is a light tanish color that looked like a wood texture to me but i could be very wrong. They are these fins if anyone knows what they are made of:

My apologies if i am wrong. I still need a new set of fins though.

Yuri- Do you have a mold for 1.5" fins or only 1.25"?

i have both sizes. the down side is that i only made a mold for (1) of the 1.5" so it basically takes me 4 days to make 4 :) When i made the 1.25" I made a double mold. The time usually isnt a probelm, the thing that sucks about one mold is that i waste epoxy.

Yeh those fins are not wood.
Notice that litewave fins have smaller screws than almost every other fins (most fins use 6M or 1/4"), whatever you get make sure it has the smaller size screws otherwise you will have to drill your board.

Yuri- Not tryin to be picky but id prefer a set of 1.5's if that'd be possible. I've tried the 1.25's before and just like the feel of the 1.5's better
