I think that last photo is the funniest. Everyone lokoing at him like he's bigfoot. Poor guy. Actually that may have something to do with it.

I dont know if anyone has seen the guys who fly the monkey kites at alameda but they arent far off. One guy wears rock climbing gear. I think the kites dont have a name at all. but hey, the sport had to start somewhere. If only it were as safe to be as uncool like this.

There looking at him because of all the noise he is making dragging his board down the sidewalk by the leash. The windsurfers were like WTF. That guy rules!

That pic is funny. I was actually at the spit when that guy on the wipika came out. Now that was some serious mayhem that day. Day after 4th of July. No beachgoers, but about a billion "kiters" and windsurfers.

I saw more kites get tangled that day then the whole season here in the bay.

I heard that guy was doing some rockin moves with his 2 lines. Did you see him riding? I hope I am good enough some day to go out there like a total joke. Looks fun.

Whistling in the first pic and high-tech footstraps. No self confidence issues this this cat.

...and the grin on his face in the second pic is golden. You can tell he's enjoying every minute of the absurdity.

Oh my, the idiots start at alameda. Just got home and it looks like some guys went on a spending spree on craigslist. Obviously have NO Fin clue what the hell they are doing. i am so tired of telling people like that to stop.
