Well judging by the bruises that are starting to show up on my arm and back. I'm thinking it was trauma related. I need to learn the frontroll and kiteloop seperately first, not at the same time.
I've been in plenty of nasty water over the years and was surprised when they had mentioned the water as a possibility at the hospital, but don't be scared, drink up!
mmmmmmmmm....delta pure h20....maybe I can bottle it and sell it.
Ya know, what doesn't kill ya...... :-&

Dude, you need to see a doctor ASAP.
They treated mine with a Prednisone tapered dose. Gone in about a week.
I had to tell the doctor what to do and they consulted with a neurologist. Your nerver canal is cutting off your nerve - that's why your face droops and you can't smile right.
If you don't address it immediately this way, you risk permanent damage. I mean, your face might stay that way!
They say it isn't hereditary, but it's happened to my dad, my brother, my sister, and my mom. Not to mention me too.
My mom delayed going to the doctor and she still has it's effects years later.
If you're not on the medication, you better get on it quick!!

I second the prednisone suggestion (I'm no doc, but...) -- it helped when my face went numb and inflammation of the nerve needs to be put down ASAP.
If you were getting some type of infection, you gotta stop that too. My ear went pluggy for about 2 months earlier this year -- I figured out it was an infection in the Eustachian tube. Might try some Uva Ursi if you aren't on antibiotics -- works real well but don't take for more than a week. It's what doctors used before they discovered antibiotics to treat infections, it's real strong and since the bugs haven't seen it much, they shouldn't have "resistance" to it.

oh yea, been on meds for three days now.
Funny thing, one of the meds is zovirax, most commonly prescribed for herpes! guess i don't have to worry about that

There are different forms of "the pox" (herpes), including chicken pox and shingles (which are related and often come together). Shingles is a nerve problem -- you have a nerve problem. Have you ever had chicken pox (I'm actually immune to it somehow and I think a certain percentage of the population is)? If you've had it, maybe the Bells is an expression of it (the shingles, not the chicken pox) and will pass in a couple weeks just like the docs think. Once again, I'm no doc, but I think this is the logic behind the treatment.
I still think it's related to the ear infection type thing you were getting which was probably from the algae, but I blame everything on that toxic algae ;).
Really hope it gets better -- you're taking it real well, but it's going to get old real fast -- will probably clear up just a little while after that ;).
