My observation is: really smart people tend to think in clusters instead of focusing on one thing, generally they appear the most distracted as newbies... I suspect they are processing to much information to remain in the NOW.
Sometimes the best thing to do is STOP, LOOK and LISTEN for a little while BEFORE you start the kiting process. (this begins with rigging and ends with rolling up)
Take a moment to OBSERVE your surroundings, then THINK how can I FLOW WITHIN this scene..
If you see others riders having trouble, simply help them out.... If someone is acting like an A-Hole, back off....
This sport is based on attraction and SAFETY should always be ENCOURAGED, dangerous riders should be excluded from PHOTO SHOOTS and so forth tell they clean up their act.....

ok, so let's start with this sign.....

"IF YOU ARE NOT CAPABLE OF WALKING PAST ANOTHER KITER WHILE YOU BOTH HAVE KITES IN THE AIR THEN YOU SHOULD NOT BE LAUNCHING HERE"

BTW, i love that new exit, takes you a little out of the way but very scenic and a shorter line in the long run...I'm going to call it 'Tecate' vs Tijuana and Otay Mesa

this has been thought of before. Besides the driftwood, erosion is an issue. Take a look at how much the beach has eroded where the entrance/exits are. It's possible the beach will just erode and won't completely disappear, but i think it's something Bob isn't willing to experiment with?
