Question....

Seems like dragging upwind to retrieve a lost board was really hard at SI this weekend. I never have any trouble at home on the coast but sure did this weekend. Seems others did too as I picked up boards for others. Was it just me or something else? Maybe the current?

Thanks to the two peeps that helped me out! Glad I was able to pay it forward.

What is the outlook for this afternoon? I need to get my fix after missing the best weekend of the season due to family visiting.

Wow, what a weekend....72 hours of wind....biggest kite flown: 10.5....many hours on the 9m and a few on the 7m.....swell.....butter.....carving.....fun.....smiles

My left arm still hurts from all the kiting/pulling to make that aggressive turn...you don't think that kite turns itself, right?

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that a "small" ebb can still produce the conditions that I like given enough wind at the special place...two days of riding glassy swells makes this guy extra grateful.

I think I am going to ban my parents from visiting any time in the summer from now on. Of course I was at SI for 4 of July weekend and that was a bust.
