don't you run out of excuses to your boss at some point?
I mean, your dog can only die so many times...
My boss is in Dallas :-"

I kited Crissy last Thursday, HMB the Thursday before, Alameda tuesday the week before, etc...you just need a good excuse off work!!
It's called an "Emergency Board Meeting".
Happens in my business all the time. One never knows when one might be called and you'll have to attend.
Crazy.

So far this Fall/Winter seem particularly good but I hope you did not miss Crissy Monday as the coming days look miserable

It's really all about how you phrase things...
I remember working for a company in the 90's in SF where people would go to the gym at lunchtime. Nobody ever blinked, but if we said we were going SURFING at lunch, management got all huffy. We were back at work within the same time as the gym goers, but surfing was seen completely differently. One could argue we were getting an equally strenuous workout, especially in the winter when the surf was big.
So we started going to the GYM (at Ocean Beach) instead...

Absolutely. A suit is nearly always the most appropriate attire!

Ya, in fact I nearly always wear a black suit to my board meetings. For some reason black is the preferred color. I find the board to be very demanding of my time. If I miss one of our meetings I usually feel bad, although the board doesn't seem to mind as much.

Someone needs to come out with a wetsuit with a collar and tie design. Lapels. Pin stripes.
This has been the worst fall for coast kiting in at least 4 years. In past winters, I have kited numerous sessions in Oct and Nov. December is always hit or miss, but it is looking like a big ZERO through mid-month.
Most years I get 4-6 coast sessions in both January and February. Who knows if this pattern will change by then.
Without the storms, there is no clearing wind.

It says 10M, but it's really a 9.
