Joe at norcalkites is a good choice. He is very knowledgeable about teaching kiteboarding and local conditions. Don't delay!! Everyday you make an effort to learn you'll be that much better.

I think the general answer to the question is that you take lessons from an established kiteboarding school, not pay random dudes to show you the ropes.

Funny, this was posted Thursday night and no response from the original poster. Maybe we're all talking to ourselves and it's a troll... "Also, I don't have a board/kite, so I'd need to borrow one during the lessons." Hmm... .>

My Grandma is starting up a kiting school and im sure she will teach yah all you need to know about kiting.
